Breeze is a breathing and wellness app. We take your privacy seriously. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights.

What data we collect

We collect the minimum needed for the app to work:

Account data — if you sign in, we store your email address and display name via Firebase Authentication.
Usage data — your streak count, session history, and completed dates are stored in Firestore under your user ID so your progress syncs across devices.
Push notification tokens — if you enable daily reminders, your browser's push subscription endpoint is stored on our server to deliver notifications.
Payment data — if you subscribe to Breeze Premium, payment is processed by Stripe. We never see or store your card details.

We do not collect browsing behaviour, location, contacts, or any sensitive personal data beyond what is listed above.

Guest users

If you use Breeze as a guest (without signing in), all your data stays entirely on your device. Nothing is sent to our servers.

Third-party services

Firebase (Google) — Authentication and Firestore database. Firebase Privacy
Stripe — Subscription payment processing. Stripe Privacy
Google AdSense — Ads shown to free users. Google may use cookies to serve relevant ads. Google Privacy

Premium subscribers see no advertisements.

How we use your data

To sync your progress and streak across your devices
To send you daily breathing reminders (only if you opt in)
To manage your premium subscription
To improve the app based on usage patterns (aggregate, anonymous)

Data retention

Your account data is retained until you delete your account. You can delete your account at any time from the Profile panel inside the app — this permanently removes your Firestore data and Firebase Auth record.

Your rights

Depending on your location you may have rights including access, correction, deletion, and portability of your data. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at [email protected].

Children

Breeze is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top will reflect any changes. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance.
